Clinical Psychologist & Director
My interest and career in psychology dating back to more than 20 years stems from my humble curiosity and compassion to know more about the stories that people tell about their life experiences. I am blessed with the gift of encouraging others to find their voice to re-author their life stories in ways that are empowering, meaningful, authentic and unique to them. So when I discovered my life passion – Psychology (and not just another job) a whole new world evolved and continues to evolve in each moment as I collaborate with others to co-construct knowledge and meaning.
I completed my graduate and post-graduate training in psychology at the University of Pretoria, South Africa and worked in tertiary education and private practice settings for many years before moving to Australia the place I am proud to call “my new home”. For the last 8 years I have been working as a clinical psychologist in a private practice. I have presented and published several papers locally and abroad. I view myself as a “life-long learner” and it is over the course of my life journey that my interest in positive psychology, hypnotherapy and facilitation infused with my more recent interest and experience in mindfulness meditation and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) culminated in a dream to establish Zest Infusion.
It is my hope that Zest Infusion will create an opportunity to not only share my knowledge and passion for mindfulness and ACT with others, but also inspire you to rediscover your zest for life!
