As a Zest Infusion facilitator you will gain:
An opportunity to get hands-on experience facilitating Mindfulness & ACT For Beginners (a 7-week group therapy program that works and is supported by evidence-based practice and research)
Extensive training in group therapy facilitation based on the Acceptance & Commitment Therapy model

Essential selection criteria includes:
Fully registered general or clinical psychologist
Registered Provider of Medicare services
Evidence of at least a 2-day introduction to ACT with any ACT trainer
Evidence of training and knowledge of mindfulness meditation
Experience in group facilitation or training
Understanding and knowledge of a wide range of psychological disorders
Ability to recruit and organise group members through service and community networks
Demonstrated capacity for empathy and non-judgment
Ability to recognise own boundaries with self-disclosure as facilitator of a group program
Zest Infusion facilitator key responsibilities:
Securing a venue
Recruitment of 8 – 10 participants per group
Purchasing Mindfulness & ACT For Beginners participant manuals and meditation audios
Group facilitation and program administration
