Change your relationship with food with the integrative support of a dietitian and clinical psychologist in this unique 6-week program.

Mindfulness is the gentle effort to be completely in touch with and aware of the present moment, as well as taking a non-evaluative and non-judgmental approach to your inner experience. When applied to food behaviours it can increase your awareness to the process of eating and your interactions with food. It allows you to pay closer attention to the sensations of eating, habits, eating triggers and cues. During this 6 week program you will learn to cultivate mindfulness and alter your habitual response to food by taking pause. Each session will include information and discussion on the principles of mindfulness and mindful eating, group discussion, practical mindfulness exercises, and guided meditations. You will also receive weekly mindful eating challenges to apply and practice at home, as well as complimentary meditation audios.

COST:

  • Full cost for the 6-week course is $402
  • $31.65 per session are available for participants with an eligible referral from their GP
  • Costs include all handouts and mindfulness meditation audios
  • Tea and coffee is provided
